Children at Bright Horizons Canada Square Day Nursery and Preschool in Canary Wharf have created their own obstacle courses to be used outdoors, as part of the organisation’s Active Athletes enhancement.
The children used a variety of coloured materials including plastic containers and string to create the obstacle courses that they will use outdoors throughout September.
“The children made obstacle courses and focused on balancing,” said Naomi Runeckles, deputy nursery manager.
Bright Horizons’ Active Athletes enhancement aims to provide children with opportunities to take part in physical activity during the day.
