Aberdeen nursery hosts Active Athletes Open Day

Date: 17 Aug 2017

Bright Horizons First Class Nursery in Aberdeen hosted an Active Athletes enhancement open day last week, an initiative that aims to provide children with opportunities to take part in physical activity.

The children got to play rounders and demonstrate what is offered via Bright Horizons’ Active Athletes enhancement at the nursery. They also put on a variety of fayre games including guess the teddy’s name and scoop-the-duck.

“To win a prize in scoop-the-duck the children had to add the numbers on the bottom of the duck up to five,” said Nursery Manager Corrie Kitching. “Face painting was also very popular as we had lions, tigers and lots of butterflies. The cake and coffee stall was a great success and we raised £106.50 for the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children.”
