Tytherington children embrace woodwork activity

Date: 14 Jun 2017

Children at Bright Horizons Tytherington Day Nursery and Preschool in Macclesfield recently took part in a woodwork activity to improve their fine motor skills.

The children identified different shaped items and were taught how to nail them to wood, using a child-friendly set of hammer and nails. Bright Horizons health and safety mascot Candy Floss was present to help ensure everyone remained safe at all times.

“The children sat and talked about safety with Candy Floss supporting them,” said Nursery Manager Lorraine Roberts. “They were aware of how to protect their little fingers and had a great time enjoying the responsibility in this activity.”
