Children at Bright Horizons Mongewell Park Nursery School in Wallingford, Oxfordshire have been busy celebrating National Health and Safety Week.
The children were visited by one of the parents who is a policeman and a discussion was held around what can be done to keep everyone safe each day at the nursery, as Bright Horizons health and safety mascot Candy Floss watched on. The children were also able to place cones around the police car that was parked in the nursery car park. Once outside, they were able to get inside the car and put on police jackets and hats.
“At the end of our session the children were allowed to listen to the sirens, they counted four different siren sounds that are used at different times,” said Nursery Manager Sarah McGill.
