Children at Bright Horizons Treehouse Early Care and Education Centre in Aberdeen were recently visited by a local paramedic.
Marcus, from the Scottish Ambulance Service, showed the children around an ambulance, explaining how the lift at the rear works to help patients in. He also explained some of the work paramedics do on a daily basis and afterwards, the children each got a chance to be lifted into the back of the ambulance and look around.
“Marcus talked to the children about how if they were ever to travel in an ambulance, they don’t have to be scared,” said Nursery Manager Caroline Fenton. “They also learned that their parents can come with them.”
