Crewe children make their own spider webs

Date: 09 May 2017

Children at Bright Horizons Crewe Day Nursery and Preschool have been making their own spider webs after observing a variety of shapes in the outdoor garden.

The children used a variety of materials to construct the toy webs, including numbers to decide how many points each one would have. One of the children pointed out the size of the web would depend on the size of the spider.

“The children spent lots of hard work and concentration in making our realistic webs,” said Nursery Manager Claire Chadwick. “They had lots of fun with the activity and it was a great way to enhance their fine motor skills.”
