Bright Horizons Southam Beehive nursery in Warwickshire has been rated ‘Good’ in its most recent Ofsted inspection.
The nursery received its inspection on February 22nd and was rated as ‘Good’ in all four areas of inspection: Effectiveness of the leadership and management; Quality of teaching, learning and assessment; Outcomes for children; Personal development, behaviour and welfare.
Inspection activities included the inspector taking part in a joint observation with the nursery manager and also the inspector speaking to parents about their views. Comments from the report included:
- The environment is bright, welcoming and stimulating. Staff provide a wide range of activities and experiences that meets the children’s individual needs. All children progress well in their learning.
- Managers have a good overview of the progress children make. They ensure children requiring additional support benefit from the help they need. This helps to ensure no child falls behind.
- Children are well settled. Staff make use of ‘all about me’ forms to get to know children when they start as they move throughout the nursery. They keep up to date about any changes to children’s personal information, care needs and home lives.
“We’re really pleased to have received this positive report from Ofsted,” said Nursery Manager Angie Keane. “We will now continue our mission to offer exceptional care and education to all of our families and make further improvements in the days, weeks and months ahead.”
