Horseshoe children explore frosty weather

Date: 09 Mar 2017

Children at Bright Horizons Horseshoe Day Nursery and Preschool in Surrey recently took a trip to the nursery forest school to explore the frost, after observing a cold snap in the weather outside.

On the outing, the children took magnifying glasses to examine the frost that was on the leaves, ground and grass. They also found ice and studied its attributes before returning to the nursery.

“We continued to explore the frost inside the room by reading a story about the snow and the cold,” said Nursery Manager Keely Fletcher. “They then went on to paint a frosty day picture.”
