Children at Bright Horizons Chelsea Day Nursery and Preschool celebrated Mother’s Day with a tea party where they decorated items to be passed on as gifts.
The children decorated jewellery boxes and cards, after inviting their mothers to attend the party, that they then took home to give as presents on the day. They also took part in a dance session to celebrate at the nursery after making the presents.
“The children were very excited to celebrate Mother’s Day and make the gifts,” said Maria Franco, nursery manager. “We hope the mothers appreciate them and recognise the children’s creativity as much as we did.”
