Aberdeen nursery forms partnership with local residential home

Bright Horizons at 44 St Swithin Nursery in Aberdeen has formed a partnership with Ashley House Residential Home to develop the intergenerational learning.
The partnership will see the nursery children visit the residents of the home once a month, with various activities planned for the day ahead of time. The first visit occurred at the end of February which saw the children play board games with the residents.“There was a fantastic response from both care home residents and our children,” said Nursery Manager Vicky Bowman, with regards to the first visit. “We look forward to visiting again in future months.
