Children at Bright Horizons Teddies Esher Day Nursery and Preschool in Surrey have celebrated Valentine’s Day by making cards for their families and people they love.
The children made pink and red bubble pictures by using a straw to blow bubbles into paint. They then held a piece of paper over the bubbles and let them pop, creating a variety of images in the process. They also made heart-shaped jam tarts in cookery club.
“The children thoroughly enjoyed celebrating Valentine’s Day this year,” said Nursery Manager Ashlea Sexton. “They always embrace the opportunity to show their loved ones how much they appreciate them and Valentine’s Day is always a great chance to do exactly that.”
