Teddies Esher children experiment with colours

Date: 02 Feb 2017

Children at Bright Horizons Teddies Esher Day Nursery and Preschool in Surrey have been experimenting with different colours of paint, in an exercise part of the organisation’s Growing Artists enhancement.

A table was covered with a sheet of cling film which the children then covered with a variety of paint colours. Another sheet of cling film was then placed on top of the paint, as the children sat around the table. They then used their hands to explore the colours and watched in fascination as they merged together.

“They created a lovely colourful display,” said Nursery Manager Ashlea Sexton. “We were delighted with the children’s application in the activity and they were keen to observe what the different colours would look like once mixed together.”

Bright Horizons’ Growing Artists enhancement encourages children to be creative in art.
