Englefield children develop artistic skills

Date: 02 Feb 2017

Children at Bright Horizons Englefield Green Nursery and Preschool in Egham, Surrey have been taking part in a variety of activities to improve their artistic skills, as part of the organisation’s Growing Artists enhancement.

The children have recently taken inspiration from the graffiti artist Banksy by drawing their own pictures holding a pencil in a tripod grip. They also used scissors to cut out templates before using spray bottles to make their final pieces.

“The children have shown a keen interest in Banksy’s work recently,” said Sarah Johnston, deputy nursery manager. “We were delighted with the creativity they showed during their recent artistic exercises.”

Bright Horizons’ Growing Artists enhancement encourages children to be creative in art.
