Children at Bright Horizons Englefield Green Nursery and Preschool in Egham, Surrey have created puzzles by the use of a picture of their own face.
The children stuck the pictures of each of their faces down onto a piece of paper and then cut that out into little pieces for the puzzle. They also discussed what each other looked like in their photo and how they differ from their peers.
“The children were keen to see the different photos of each other and discover more about how each of them were unique in their own way,” said Sarah Johnston, deputy nursery manager. “We practiced putting back together each of the puzzles once the pieces were cut out.”
