Basingstoke babies enjoy making music

Date: 18 Jan 2017

Babies at Bright Horizons Teddies Basingstoke have recently been making music as part of the “A day in the life at Teddies Basingstoke” initiative.

The recording initiative was set up by staff in order to provide parents the opportunity to learn more about what happens at the nursery on a day-to-day basis. The babies enjoyed making music using instruments including drums and xylophones. They also took part in a story telling activity where staff shared their stories with the babies.

“All of the babies enjoyed taking part by holding and chewing a prop while listening,” said Deirdre Mellors, nursery manager. “On the music front, each baby was excited to hear the different sounds that could be made with the instruments.”
