Basingstoke children embrace Candy Floss matching game
Date: 18 Jan 2017
Children at Bright Horizons Teddies Basingstoke have taken part in a matching game involving the organisation’s health and safety mascot Candy Floss, in an activity part of the “A day in the life at Teddies Basingstoke” initiative.
The recording initiative was set up by staff in order to provide parents the opportunity to learn more about what happens at the nursery on a day-to-day basis. A variety of pictures of Candy Floss were provided and the children then had to match each of them up in pairs.“It encouraged lots of different conversations about what they could see in the pictures and what kinds of things we need to wear in different weathers,” said Deirdre Mellors, nursery manager. “Candy Floss helps us to keep everyone safe.”
