Crewe children conduct science experiment

Date: 29 Dec 2016

Children at Bright Horizons Crewe Day Nursery and Preschool have continued the organisation’s Growing Scientists programme by taking part in a chemical reaction experiment.

The children mixed vinegar, food colouring and bicarbonate of soda and compared the reaction to that of a volcano.

“The children enjoyed watching the chemical reaction and were fascinated to see what happened once the ingredients were mixed together,” said Nursery Manager Claire Chadwick. “They are looking forward to taking part in more science experiments.”

Bright Horizons’ Growing Scientists programme helps children to identify scientific activities that occur in their everyday lives.
