Children at Bright Horizons Clairmont Day Nursery and Preschool in Wilmslow have been studying Wassily Kandinky’s famous “Concentric Circles” painting, as part of the organisation’s Growing Artists programme.

The children then each marked out their own grid and used different coloured paints to produce their own piece of work in the style of Kandinsky.

“The children took a keen interest in Kandinsky’s painting once we showed it to them, for a variety of reasons,” said Angela Brandwood-Greene, nursery manager. “We were delighted with their attention to detail when producing their own versions.”
