Basingstoke road safety

Children at Bright Horizons Teddies Basingstoke have taken part in National Road Safety Week by looking at what can be done to keep us safe on and around roads.

The children talked about what to do when using the road and looked at different road signs. They went outside and studied the road signs close to the nursery, such as the advisory speed limit.  Bright Horizons’ health and safety mascot Candy Floss was also present throughout.

“We were delighted with the children’s response to National Road Safety Week,” said Deirdre Mellors, nursery manager. “They were enthused to learn more of the safety techniques we need to keep in mind when using the road.”
