Children at Bright Horizons Footsteps Day Nursery and Preschool in Farnborough, Hampshire celebrated Remembrance Day by creating their own poppy wreath.
The children then laid the wreath at a memorial held at a local church. Upon return, staff led a discussion about the meaning of Remembrance Day and why we pay our respects to those who served in the war.
“All of the children enjoyed the opportunity to go to the local church and see all the poppies,” said Nursery Manager Tara Gatford. “We were all delighted to play our small part in Remembrance Day.”
