A workplace nursery in Feltham has been given the highest possible grade in its first Ofsted inspection report since opening in 2014.

Bright Horizons’ Cisco Early Years Nursery and Preschool, which is located in the grounds of Cisco Systems’ UK Headquarters on Bedfont Lakes Office Park, was inspected by Ofsted in October, with the full inspection report published earlier this month.

The glowing report praises the teaching within the setting, stating that “Children's enthusiasm to learn is nurtured through well-planned activities and outstanding teaching throughout the nursery. Children are motivated and excited to learn and make outstanding progress in their learning.” The report continues to praise the bond between children and staff, commenting that the “Children form very secure emotional attachments with staff through an exceptionally effective key-person system and a high-quality settling-in procedure. Children are extremely well behaved.” The report ends by praising the nursery team’s “excellent partnerships with parents”, and the inspirational leaders and managers within the nursery.

Nursery Manager, Joanna Akram, said, “We are all thrilled with the ‘Outstanding’ rating from Ofsted; the report reads like a treasure trove of positive comments. It’s great to see that the passion and enthusiasm of my staff has been recognised and rewarded in such a way.  Our focus now is to continue to offer exceptional care and education to all of the families we serve.”
