Children at Bright Horizons Teddies Chiswick Park Nursery and Preschool have created a large group poppy to remember those who served in war.
The children used a variety of collage materials to create the poppy ahead of Remembrance Day including tissue paper, glitter and lolly sticks. They then held a discussion on Remembrance Day itself and why poppies are worn to show respect at this time of year.
“The children loved the responsibility of creating their own poppy for Remembrance Day,” said Nursery Manager Rebecca Fergus. “It is always important for us to remember and pay our respects to those who fought and served in the war.”
