Children at Bright Horizons Broadgreen Day Nursery and Preschool in Liverpool have been developing their knowledge of the autumn season by collecting leaves fallen within the nursery’s surroundings.
After collecting the leaves, the children then returned to the nursery to create autumn pictures, as Bright Horizons health and safety mascot Candy Floss watched on. The children also learned more about safety around fireworks in the aftermath of Bonfire Night.
“The children have noticed the change in scenery outside since the end of the summer so were keen to learn more about the different seasons and the changes that occur,” said Nursery Manager Stephanie Beesley. “We were delighted with their creativity in making their own autumn pictures.”
