Basingstoke children create large Pudsey Bear for Children in Need

Date: 22 Nov 2016

Children at Bright Horizons Teddies Basingstoke have played their part in raising money for Children in Need 2016 and made a bid to enter into the Guinness World Records.

The children sold spotted cakes and biscuits while attempting to make the world’s largest Pudsey Bear. They all participated in painting, drawing and collaging small pictures to make up the bear, which measures 15 feet 9 inches.

“We have contacted the Guinness World Records and are very excited to receive their response” said Deirdre Mellors, nursery manager. “Children in Need is a cause close to our hearts and the children were delighted to raise awareness and money for this special cause.”
