Children and staff at Bright Horizons Elsie Inglis Nursery and Preschool have raised money for Macmillan Cancer Support after taking part in the charity’s Coffee Morning campaign.
The nursery hosted a bake and coffee sale and managed to raise £218 for the cause. Visitors included residents of a nearby care home as well as numerous parents and family members.
“We invited the care home over to join us,” said Deputy Nursery Manager Kate Hubbert. “Links with the community are something we are wanting to embed so this was great and the children loved sharing stories with them. We were obviously delighted to raise money for a charity close to our hearts.”
