Bright Horizons Crewe Day Nursery and Preschool has transformed its reception area into a circus, in order to raise money for the organisation’s foundation as part of a two month fundraising campaign.
Lots of circus themed events will take place at the nursery over the next few weeks, with a popcorn machine present throughout. Donations for popcorn will all be put towards the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children.
“The foundation is obviously a charity close to our hearts so we are delighted to play our small part in raising as much money for it again this year as possible,” said Nursery Manager Claire Chadwick. “The children are very excited to take part in a number of circus activities over the next few weeks.”
Set up in 2005, the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children’s sole purpose is to help children and families in crisis. They achieve this by working with local community groups, shelters and with Bright Horizons clients to create Bright Spaces®, which are indoor and outdoor play spaces located in homeless shelters, domestic violence refuges and refugee centres.
The spaces are created in order to provide children and families in need with a special place to play, have fun and most of all feel safe.
