Chester children take part in food tasting exercise

Date: 10 Oct 2016

Children at Bright Horizons Countess of Chester Day Nursery and Preschool recently took part in a food tasting exercise, as part of the organisation’s Creative Cooks programme.

The children were involved in a sensory tasting experience which saw them taste a range of sweet and bitter foods, such as lemons.

“The children were excited to taste the different foods,” said Nursery Manager Eileen Morrey. “They were all interested to know what each food tasted like and enjoyed tasting the lemons in particular.”

Bright Horizons Creative Cooks programme aims to encourage children to be creative in cooking.
