Children at Bright Horizons Broadgreen Day Nursery and Preschool in Liverpool have been experimenting with syringes and brightly coloured water this week, as part of the Growing Scientists programme.
The children enjoyed learning how to push the water up and out of the syringes and loved creating splashes in the luminous water.
“The children really enjoyed learning how syringes work and using them to stream the coloured water back in to the bowl. As well as being a fun, the activity was planned in order to help improve the children’s motor skills” said Nursery Manager Stephanie Beesley.
The Growing Scientists programme aims to help children identify scientific activities in everyday life.
