Children at Bright Horizons Wishing Willow Day Nursery and Preschool in Banstead have been talking about and learning the importance of eating healthy foods, as part of Growing Up Healthy Week.
The children were involved in a game where they were given a pretend plate and had to choose from a number of different foods to make a healthy dinner. The foods include crisps, chocolate, ice cream, fruit, vegetables and rice.
“The children had fun talking about the different foods and helping make each other’s dinners,” said Nursery Manager Rageena Abbas. “In the future, we look forward to participating in Growing Up Healthy Week again, as we view it as a great way to promote healthy diet and living.”
