Children at Bright Horizons Teddies Greenwich Nursery and Preschool have been studying the natural habitats of animals found at the zoo.
The children looked at different animals and the types of homes that they have. They then discussed where the animals would sleep and play, as well as what they would eat in order to remain healthy. Resources were then used by the children to create model environments for the zoo animals talked about.
“The children were intrigued to learn about all of the other animals, where they live and what they eat,” said Loraine Thorpe, nursery manager. “We look forward to teaching them more about the animals that share our planet in the future.”
