Preschool children at Bright Horizons North Cheam Day Nursery in Sutton who are preparing to transition to primary school have celebrated their time at nursery with a graduation ceremony.
During the ceremony, each child received a scroll and graduation bear as a keepsake. The ceremony was followed by a tea party which also involved family and friends of all the children and included a graduation cake made by the nursery’s chef.
“It was an emotional but enjoyable day for everyone involved,” said Nursery Manager Sarah Burge. “Good luck to all the children that are moving on to school; we wish you all the very best for the future and you will be missed.”
