Children at Bright Horizons Epping Day Nursery and Preschool have raised a further £600 for charity, as they dressed up in gold for a fun day at the nursery.
The children raised £623.16 for Childhood Cancer just a month after raising more than £1,000 for Beating Bowel Cancer.
The children were asked to wear either gold or yellow throughout the day, which included activities such as face painting, biscuit making and treasure hunts.“The children thoroughly enjoyed the day and were excited to wear their gold and yellow clothing,” said Nursery Manager Carole Byrne. “We were delighted to raise the funds for a charity close to our hearts.”
