Crewe children enhance road safety knowledge

Date: 07 Sep 2016

Children at Bright Horizons Crewe Day Nursery and Preschool have been enhancing their knowledge on the importance of road safety.

The children have been studying different road signs and learning about what each of them means.

Bright Horizons’ health and safety mascot Candy Floss was also in attendance as the children discussed the importance of staying safe when crossing the road. They also spoke about traffic lights and drew their own set on paper.

“The children were very keen to learn more about road safety and recognised the importance of it,” said Nursery Manager Claire Chadwick. “At Bright Horizons, safety makes up an integral part of our education programme and this was further evidence of this.”
