Bright Horizons Richmond Day Nursery and Preschool has been celebrating Rio 2016 by discussing about and taking apart in various traditions associated with the Olympics.

The children have been learning about all of the sports that are part of the Olympics and the athletes who participate. Nursery Manager Scott Humphrey oversaw an activity where the children created their own Olympic ring paintings, as part of the Bright Horizons Growing Artists programme.

“The children have been captivated by the Olympics and were excited to learn more about the Games,” said Humphrey. “We are pleased they were able to paint their own Olympic rings as part of the Growing Artists programme.”

Bright Horizons’ Growing Artists programme aims to encourage children to be creative in art.
