Macintosh children become builders for the day

Date: 17 Aug 2016

Children at Bright Horizons Macintosh Village Day Nursery and Preschool were excited to attend a building site last week to observe the builders at work.

Aided by Bright Horizons health and safety mascot Candy Floss, the children dressed up in high visibility jackets with builders hats to ensure their safety while attending the site. Upon arrival, they watched the builders dig and drew pictures of the building.

After entering the building, the staff and children created a builders fascination trap to dress up and dig inside.

“The children had a thoroughly enjoyable day at the building site,” said Nursery Manager Chloe Barwick. “We were delighted with the creative they showed when drawing the building and creating the fascination trap.”
