Children practise dental skills at Rugby

Date: 21 Jul 2016

Children at Bright Horizons Rugby Beehive Nursery were recently visited by a representative from the British Dental Health Foundation.

Karen Coates was on hand to assist the children as they dressed up as dentists and then examined the teeth of their puppets, Alex and Connie.

Mayor of Rugby Sally Bragg was also in attendance in what was an exciting morning for the children, who subsequently shared their stories of previous visits to the dentist.

“The children were very enthusiastic when examining the puppets’ teeth and we were thrilled to have Karen and the mayor come along to our nursery for the day,” said Nichola Patel, nursery manager. “The children were also able to learn the importance of attending the dentist and looking after your teeth on a regular basis.”
