Children at Bright Horizons North Cheam Day Nursery in Sutton have been learning about road and car safety as part of National Child Safety Week.
Discussions during the week included car safety, colour sequencing of traffic lights and how to stay safe when crossing the road.
Interaction among the children was high during the talks with a number of knowledgeable comments provided. Bright Horizons health and safety mascot Candy Floss was present throughout.
“All the children had an enjoyable time talking about road safety,” said Nursery Manager Sarah Burge. “We are always keen to celebrate and participate in National Child Safety Week, as the health and wellbeing of children in our care is always our number one priority.”
