Children celebrate World Book Day

Date: 03 Mar 2016

They were many princesses and superheroes at Bright Horizons Rugby Beehive Day Nursery and Preschool when the children dressed up today to celebrate the day of literacy – the World Book Day.

The youngsters brought in their favourite books to share with their friends and the excitement has built up when the stories came to live with all the fun costumes.

The Nursery Manager, Nicola Patel, said: “Throughout the year we try to foster a life-long love of reading as part of our bespoke Growing Readings Programme. The World Book Day is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the favourite children’s stories of all time and the enjoyment of reading.”
