Snow fun

Date: 18 Jan 2016

When it started snow at Bright Horizons Tytherington Day Nursery and Preschool the children couldn’t wait to get outside to catch some snowflakes and watch them melt.

With the first sign the children got very excited to see the snow and frost in the nursery garden. Wrapped up warm, they rushed outside to explore.

They had fun making snow angels and observing their footprints. Evie noticed: “The frost is too hard but if it snows we can make footprints.” Maddison recalled when it last snowed: “I put my wellies on, built Olaf and went sledging.”

Nursery Manager, Lorraine Roberts, said: “The children got so excited when they saw the snow.  They had lots of fun outside and they are now hoping that more will come so they can build they own snowman.”
