Bright Horizons shortlisted for two awards at the 2015 Scottish NMT Nursery Awards

Bright Horizons is delighted to announce that they have been shortlisted for two awards at the 2015 Scottish Nursery Management Today (NMT) Nursery Awards.
The Preschool Team at Livingston Day Nursery in West Lothian have been shortlisted for the Nursery Team Award, which recognises the staff team that has developed an excellent standard of childcare and education through exceptional group work.
In their nomination, Livingston’s Preschool Team provides children and families with an “exceptionally welcoming and friendly service that puts children’s needs at the heart of what they do.” In particular the Preschool Team “encourage each child’s journey of lifelong learning, while developing professionally and inspiring one another.”
In addition, Emma Martin, Preschool Coordinator at Morton Mains Day Nursery in Edinburgh, has been shortlisted for the Nursery Nurse/Childcare Practitioner Award, which recognises a Childcare Practitioner who clearly demonstrates warmth, care, equality, responsibility, fairness and being supportive in all relationships with children, parents and families.
Emma’s nomination is in recognition and celebration of her exceptional and sustained contributions to the early years, and to the children and families she supports. In her nomination, she creates a “home from home; a safe, secure learning environment in which children and staff can thrive and trust.”
Winners of the Scottish NMT Nursery Awards will be presented with their trophies on Wednesday 2 September, at a Gala Night at the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow.
