Bright Horizons win Employee Engagement Award

Bright Horizons Family Solutions are pleased to announce that they have received the award for HR Technology at the Employee Engagement Awards, and were also highly commended in the Employee Engagement Company of the Year category.

The Employee Engagement Awards acknowledge those businesses that place their workforce at the heart of their organisation and strive to do things differently, through innovative practices and forward-thinking.

This particular category, HR Technology of the Year, recognises an organisation whose use of technology allows their HR teams to effectively and efficiently achieve their set strategic objectives and focus on engagement.

As a large and multi-site organisation, Bright Horizons created a one stop shop of benefits for their employees so they had a place to go to access core, voluntary and flexible benefits. The project was launched in the summer of 2013 and as a listening and learning organisation where everyone has a voice, employees were closely involved in the branding and communication of the new rewards platform.

Bright Horizons new benefits platform, HEARTFelt Rewards, was created through a successful partnership with Reward Gateway, a leading provider of cloud-based benefits platforms. HEARTFelt Rewards offers innovation, flexibility and technology, providing a wide range of benefits that are easily accessible and meet the requirements of each and every employee.
Bright Horizons were also highly commended in the Employee Engagement Company of the Year category, which recognises an organisation that provides the most innovative strategy for Employee Engagement that not only works but also has clear and measurable return on investment.

Bright Horizons received their award at a ceremony at The Brewery, London, on Wednesday 28th January.

Sharon Williams, Director of Employee Engagement, said, “We are absolutely delighted to receive the award for Employee Engagement HR Technology. We have been on a fantastic journey as we have acquired organisations, understood their culture and welcomed them into the Bright Horizons family. Our HEARTFelt Rewards platform has been a great success and the impact can already been seen across our recruitment, retention, our Employee Opinion Survey, and most importantly in the comments and feedback from our teams – it’s just amazing! At Bright Horizons we believe every child’s potential is endless and we also believe that the potential of our organisation and our people is endless.”
