Bright Horizons win prestigious Nursery Expansion and New Development Award

Bright Horizons are delighted to announce that they have received the award for Nursery Expansion and New Development at the 2014 National Nursery Management Today (NMT) Awards.

The National NMT Awards are one of the sector’s premier annual events and are designed to recognise excellence and the inspiring work of those in the Early Years sector. This particular category recognises childcare providers who have developed sites to an exceptional standard thus demonstrating outstanding vision for the benefit of their children and staff.

With over 30 years’ experience and more than 200 nurseries across the UK and Ireland, Bright Horizons invest their time, focus and resources into creating specially designed nurseries that provide rich learning and play environments, enabling children to flourish and grow in a caring and safe environment. The judges were particularly impressed with Bright Horizons’ passionate and professional account of how they have created many new development sites in the last year, including their innovative and leading edge new nurseries in Crouch End and Clapham. In addition to outstanding nursery environments, the judges also highlighted Bright Horizons’ dedication to “customer listening”, which has enabled them to truly understand the needs of the children and families in each local community.

The event took place on Saturday 29th November in London and was hosted by Keith Duffy from Boyzone. Carole Edmond, Managing Director for Bright Horizons and Jeremy Clark, Development Director, collected the award on behalf of the organisation.

A special mention also goes to Holly Winchcombe from Bright Horizons Teddies Southfields nursery, who was shortlisted for the Chef of the Year Award.
Jeremy Clark, Development Director at Bright Horizons, said:

“We are thrilled to win this award; it is a great testament to the high quality nurseries which we create. As a company we continue to use our experience, which is built up from over 30 years, to create the best possible environments in which children can flourish and naturally love learning forever.”
