At Bright Horizons, the health and safety of your child is our number one priority.

With 20 years of experience in the field of childcare, we are experts at striking the balance between keeping children safe, whilst allowing them the freedom and independence they need to explore and develop.

Realistically, we all know that little ones having fun may sometimes get messy, or have the occasional bump or scrape.

However, we are fully committed to keeping children safe at all times.

Qualified First Aiders are present in Bright Horizons nurseries at all times, and our highly-skilled staff are trained in proper hygiene practice.

We go above and beyond standard nursery Health and Safety procedures.

Our nursery environments and resources (like toys, climbing frames etc.) are specifically designed to match the different stages in your child’s development; and we firmly believe in empowering children by letting them take charge of their own Health & Safety.

Candyfloss – A Zebra on A Mission...

Candyfloss is no ordinary zebra – (he’s blue for starters!)

We challenged some of our children to think about how we could spread the message about Health & Safety and they created Candyfloss...a superhero zebra on a mission to keep all children safe!

From keeping play areas tidy, to crossing the road, to fire drills - Candyfloss is now our official Heath and Safety mascot – he is present in all nurseries and helps children understand how they can stay safe and help each other safe too.

During the summer months he helps to remind children to stay safe when playing outside, put on their sun cream and be careful around water.
