Prime Times

Bright Horizons strongly believes in the value of one-to-one care in nurseries.
‘Prime Times’ is our term for those special one-to-one moments between your child and their Key Person throughout their day – we prioritise Prime Times and use this term to show how just how significant these moments of care are to us!

Caring times are Prime Times - these are the times when your child’s primary needs of food, sleep, nappy change, play and nurturing from others are provided for . These times occupy a large part of both your child’s and his/her Key Person’s day at nursery.

With a relaxed pace and gentle one-to-one contact between Key Person and your child, full of rich language, interactions, and real give and take, Prime Times help develop a strong sense of personal identity and self-esteem, language, and a basic trust in the world as a good place.
