Teddies Woking Nursery is based in a large, period house on a quiet residential street, with just five minutes’ walk to Woking town centre, and ten minutes to Woking train station, which has a direct line into London’s Waterloo Station.
Children are divided into three age groups within the nursery - Baby Care (caring for children aged 3 months to 2 years) Little Learners (age 2-3 years) and our Learning Centre for older children (aged 3-5 years). We work closely with Early Years Professionals to ensure best practice in all areas.
We offer a wide range of age-appropriate activities and resources, allowing children to develop to their maximum potential through play and learning. Activities include: - arts and crafts, sand and water play, music and movement, and much more! We encourage independence and confidence in our children, enabling them to make choices in a safe, secure environment.
"Thanks so much for all your wonderful care, support and enthusiasm over the years. You all do a great job and we have been really happy with the progress of our children under your guidance" - Parent at Teddies Woking. The Learning Centre operates a free flow system between rooms, allowing for free choice by the children. Here children are introduced to subjects like reading, writing, maths, science and ICT - these activities are designed to assist children in becoming more independent, and to support them on the preparation stages for school.
Our spacious garden allows children to explore the outdoor environment in all types of weather. Within the garden, children plant seeds and grow their own vegetables, learning about nature and seasons.

“Parents are kept well informed about their child and nursery life through a daily exchange of both verbal and written information and through information displayed throughout the nursery on notice boards. They are also able to discuss their child's progress at formal evening meetings. Parents confirm the nursery share all their policies and procedures with them and state that the nursery is 'really good' and 'fantastic'.”-Teddies Woking Ofsted Report
