Teddies Nursery in Sutton is located on a quiet residential area, situated close to the town centre, train station and main bus routes. Our nursery fees include branded nappies, nappy cream, bottles and (should a parent wish) formula milk.

Our nursery is based within a converted house, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and is split (by age group) into three rooms, with an excellent variety of play equipment and activities on offer in each.

In our bright, self-contained baby room, Teddies Sutton babies follow familiar sleeping and eating routines and take part in a range of activities specially designed to improve their developing skills. With a separate milk kitchen, sleep room and changing facilities, this room is equipped with everything our youngest children could want; including a fantastic ‘Sensory Area’ where babies learn through reacting to touch, smell, textures and sounds.

Our Little Learners room caters for children aged between 18 months to 3 years old; this room offers an extensive range of activities, including messy play, arts and crafts, and sand and water play, while in our Learning Centre older, pre-school children are introduced to reading, writing, maths and other academic subjects.

Teddies Sutton children enjoy a wide range of extra-curricular activities, such as our weekly Gardening and Cookery Clubs, and there are a variety of optional classes on offer too, including French, Ballet, Jo jingles, Tennis, Sporty Tots hosted by trained coaches/teachers (optional classes are available at a small cost). All children at the nursery enjoy the outdoors and regular outings; children play safely and explore our secure garden, with a variety of climbing and play equipment, bikes and sports resources on offer. There is also a growing area where children can plant and care for herbs, vegetables and flowers. We often go on walks to the library, shops and local park and are lucky to be very close to the Secombe Centre Theatre, where our little ones enjoy plays and pantomimes.

Parents are always welcome at Teddies Sutton! We encourage parents to join in nursery life with picnics, messy play afternoons and a range of Parents Evenings. Before children leave us for school, we celebrate their achievements by having a Graduation Ceremony, which parents are also invited to.
