Teddies Nursery in Streatham is located within a quiet residential area, just a short walk from Streatham Common train station. We are proud to be a diverse nursery with staff and children from a mixture of cultural backgrounds. We have free parking outside the nursery which makes dropping off and picking up your child quick and convenient.

Our nursery's baby care unit has its own separate milk kitchen, sleeping room and changing facilities which help us to provide dedicated care in keeping with your baby’s familiar routine as they would at home. We carefully plan our activities to ensure babies can develop and learn at their own pace.

The nursery’s over 2’s area has a large variety of activities, games and toys to encourage learning and playtime. With story time, arts and crafts, music and movement and messy play, our toddlers are always busy and well entertained. For the nursery’s older children, we like to provide an age-appropriate introduction into subjects such as reading, writing, maths, science and IT in order to prepare them for school. We have outstanding IT facilities for little ones to learn with; with access to iPad, laptops and desktop computers.

Exciting outings to Tooting Common and Streatham Common, visits to libraries and growing our own plants helps us to learn about the world around us and extend our knowledge. We encourage social activities and free-flowing interaction between the age groups within the nursery so that children can learn from each other!

Teddies Streatham believe in working in partnership with parents – we aim to foster a ‘community’ feeling to the nursery, creating good relationships between children, staff and parents. Often during initial visits, parents have commented upon the friendly warm atmosphere they feel upon entering the nursery and going around the rooms. Our Manager and Deputy Manager pride themselves on a professional but informal approach - we find this makes Teddies Streatham welcoming to everybody!

Included in the nursery fees are branded nappies, nappy cream, bottles and, should a parent wish, a formula baby milk of your choice.
