Day Care Nursery in Kent

Teddies Nursery Maidstone is conveniently located on the outskirts of the town centre. The nursery is within a short distance from railway stations, and main motorways.

Teddies babies follow their own familiar routines, just as they would at home. We have a dedicated baby care unit including a separate milk kitchen, changing area and a peaceful sleeping room. For our over two’s, a wide variety of toys and activities are readily available to encourage play and fun learning. Messy play, music and movement, art and craft and story time are enjoyed throughout the day.

Outings to local parks and shops help us to learn about the world around us and mixing with children of different ages encourages social activity and learning. Helping our children to gain confidence and independence in preparation for school is a high priority for us, with introductions into subjects such as reading, writing, science, maths and IT. French lessons (Fun time French) also run each week for pre-school children during term time.

Our Cookery Club and Gardening Club initiatives are proving very popular - we have garden and cookery representatives from each age group, who are responsible for promoting passion for cooking and developing our garden. We have our own vegetable patch where children grow their own fruits and vegetables, which are then used in our cookery club to make something delicious and nutritious!

Each age group has their own garden area; Baby Care has a grassed area which is set up each day with a variety of play equipment to choose from. Little Learners have a soft surface area, and the children have access into the garden throughout the day. Learning Centre has a hard-floor area, ideal for riding bikes, cars and scooters, and a grassed area on which to investigate the natural environment.

Nursery fees include all meals, branded nappies, nappy cream, bottles, and, should parent wish, a baby formula milk of your choice.
