Day Care Nursery in Surrey

Teddies Nursery in Esher is a five minute walk from Esher High Street, and a ten minute drive from Esher train station, which has trains running directly to Waterloo. The nursery has free on-road parking for easy drop off and collection.

Our nursery’s ‘home from home’ atmosphere offers a welcoming environment, dedicated to the care and support of each individual child. Our baby room has a fully contained unit with its own milk kitchen, sleeping room and changing facilities. To ensure that our babies feel secure in the nursery, we carry on with any routines they have been following at home. The nursery provides stimulating activities for young babies, promoting their sensory development and movement range.

For our over two’s group, we offer the children a wide range of activities and experiences based around their own interests. Cooking, creative drawing, music and movement and role play are just some of the activities on offer. Children start to potty train in this room too, so encouragement and support is given to both children and parents through this time.

Pre-school children also enjoy activities and play in addition to receiving an introduction to reading, writing, science and maths, helping them prepare them for the coming transition to school. We encourage independence here, with children serving their own lunch, getting dressed on their own and beginning to make decisions for themselves.

All Teddies Esher children go on outings from the nursery at least twice a month; these include visiting the library, local shops and the park. We also offer a fun Gardening Club and Cookery Club that all children throughout the nursery and parents are able to join in with!

Included in the nursery fees are branded nappies, nappy cream, bottles and, should a parent wish, a formula milk of your choice.
