Teddies Nursery in Chesham Bois is located in the heart of the Chilterns between Chesham and Amersham. Conveniently for parents, our nursery is within easy reach of motorways, rail links, main line and underground trains direct to London.

Teddies Nursery is in a homely and welcoming building which has a self contained baby unit with separate milk kitchen, changing facilities and sleep room which ensures babies can follow familiar home routines. The nursery also provides activities to encourage development, and when babies are ready, they join in with the older children for messy fun, outdoor play and music.

Nursery children over 15 months have rapidly developing skills and are always learning something new – our highly-qualified staff members keep children occupied with a variety of activities designed to support play and learning. Typical activities for our busy youngsters include: story time, sticking and cutting, Music and Movement, singing, and sand and water play.

For pre-school children, the nursery provides an introduction to subjects such as reading, writing, maths, science, IT and French, which help to develop their confidence and prepare them for school. They also take part in activities such as art, music, gym and creative construction.

Teddies Chesham Bois has an outdoor area which has a soft surfacing for safe running, jumping and climbing. The children enjoy growing fruit and vegetables as part of our Gardening Club and extend learning activities through our Cookery Club.

Our location offers a wealth of opportunities for fun outings with our little ones! Chesham Town Centre is only a short distance away, and we frequently visit the local shops and library. Directly behind us lies Chesham Moor - great for summer picnics and nature walks.

Included in the nursery fees are branded nappies, nappy cream, bottles and, should a parent wish, a formula milk of your choice

They organise social events, such as barbeques and Mother's Day breakfasts, providing excellent opportunities for parents, children and staff to spend time together.
